San Diego Dealer
Can anyone recommend a Lexus dealer in San Diego that they have had good experiences with as far as service and warranty work. Did a search and saw a few horror stories about Kearny Mesa, but that was awhile back. Saw some positives with Bob Baker. TIA.

Escondido and Carlsbad are owned by the same people. I've had issues with my car getting damaged at Carlsbad on several occasions, but they have always repaired the problems...sometimes with less hassle than others. I get the feeling that they think I am a scammer trying to get "free" repairs done, but I'm just really OCD about my car and notice things. I am now on their list, and the service manager handles my car personally. It kinda pisses me off that I'm treated like that, but with all the BS that has happened, I can't say that I'm not at least a little understanding.
Carlsbad and Escondido are about the same distance from me. I will always go to Escondido for two reasons. First, the facility is much nicer. If at all possible, I will wait for my car. They have a lot going on, and their massage chairs are damned nice. Getting in without scraping a lowered car is also a plus. Even if you can get in/out without scraping, who knows what other people will do. Being super careful with a lowered car might not be at the top of their priority list. Another reason I would go to Escondido is its size. The place is frigg'n huge. If you've ever looked at the staging lot in back of Carlsbad, the place is packed in like a can of sardines. I think that is a major reason why I have gotten bumper damage twice. I don't see that being an issue at Escondido. For that reason, I will never get my car serviced at Carlsbad. Most of the people have been nice, and treated me with respect, but it's just not worth the hassle.
If you ever need a part, Brock(sp?) at Escondido knows his stuff! I've been told by other parts guys that a certain part doesn't come separate, but he proved them wrong on a couple occasions.
