I went yesterday to Pepe's Muffler as they are very close off the 605 where I go home from work. My experiance was . I was not too happy with their work and their customer service. They really didnt care what I had to say and where I wanted it on my car. They just did what they wanted.

The price was average I got a 3" full Y-pipe back to my dual exhausts for $160 The problem I had is that they CRUSH BEND (my fault for not chking first on this part). I told them thats fine just make sure its not rippled and is flush with all edges. When I got home to examine it they just stuffed the pipe into my exhaust and welded it which pretty much F'd the flow. I also told them to take off the heatshield to put the exhaust higher and they said they wouldnt do that either so my exhaust sits low. Im a pretty nice guy I dont like to complain too much, I just know Ill never go back to them.

Ill fix the problems they made for my exhaust when I have more time.

side question what do you get done at Mike's Mufflers? I go there from time to time but is it worth the money. Are there any power gains. Did you lose gas mileage?

Sorry to hear about the bad experience eliteskill. All I had done at Pepe's was new mufflers and tips, but I stood by the guy doing the work and made sure everything was done the way I wanted it to be done. I guess they're not the place to go to for custom pipe work.
