Default Good Beaches for Bonfires

I'm tryign to find a good beach anywhere from Ventura to as far south as Dockweiler Beach or around there that has fire pits. Dockweiler I know has fire pits but you have to get there early to claim one.

Are there better locations or easier ones to claim pits at?

Sycamore Cove, northwest of Neptunes Net in Ventura County has firepits and BBQ's, but it first come, first serve and you have to pay to park inside. Basically, you gotta get their early to reserve your space, esp. during the summer.

LOL Allen last time we did that Lifeguard came by and told us to put it out since it wasn't in a designated firepit.
