Has anyone else done business with Paolo or Simple Wheel Werks after the allegations of him being booted?

A lot of CL heads have done business with him and if you ask em they'd all tell you his work is worth the price. And the allegations of him being booted is not true.

I just worked with Paolo early September. My wheel turned out great. He fixed all the bends, a small crack, and also a curb rash.

I can definitely vouch for Paolo.

Wheels must be multi-piece in order for the offset to be changed without touching the dish...

So how does Simple Wheel Werkes' compare to Son Tran's work? I took my wheels off of my car this week because I took it into the dealer. Now that they're off, I may as well get them repolished (curbs and oxidation). My thought is, if Son can come to me and do it here at my house without removing the tires, and still do a great job, why not use him? Versus getting the tires removed (paying money to do so) and driving from Corona to Stanton to drop them off. Then picking them up and paying money again to get the tires remounted.

Thoughts?

^^^ It seems like you answered your own question... If you're only getting minor work done just go with Son then..
