Reputable Shops In Southern CA
Does anyone have a shop they can refer me to that does good work on their car? More specifically a shop that can do basic/moderate repairs, oil changes...things like that and won't charge sky high prices. I know VIP's down here, but they are a little out of the way and I'd be surprised if they'd do repairs. I live in San Pedro, so anything on the west side of LA would be preferred. I'm tired of dealing with Lexus's poor service and outrageous prices. They charge me $180 for oil changes. I know they do more than just change the oil, but no matter what, its way to high. Any recommendations are welcomed.

Lexus poor service? I'm sad for you as I'm spoiled up here.
Both Lexus dealers here give excellent premium service. 10K service cost me $130 including tax w/o the oil change which I do myself.
Paying $130 for service for a $60,000 car is cheap to me w/ the most certainty that the people checking my car know what they are doing better than any fix all makes shop.

try corner 3 garage in lake forest. i know might be quite a ways. its near irvine. they service infinitis,acuras and lexus as well as its lower end brand counterpart. they do great work without the great amount dealer's charge. ask for nima or steve

Go to Toyo Automotive in Lomita. It's close to you and they give great service and prices. Mario and Randy "the owner" are great guys. Hit them up http://www.toyoautomotive.com/ .
