What would warrant the theft of a MKIV Golf? I mean, these cars aren't known for any hot parts right? I'm guessing the homosexual thieves just stole it for a joy ride or something.

I'm also starting to suspect that fraud may be involved...Think about it, Why would anyone want to steal a stock looking golf? These cars aren't known to be hot, Let alone, these cars are suppose to have immobilizers....Yeah, definitely fraud...maybe because the owner can no longer afford payments and had the car "deliberately" stolen so that the insurance company can pay off the bank that owns it as a "Loss Payee"? and that there shall be no hassles of getting it re-possessed and getting the golf owner's credit screwed over.

No one steals cars there... too many people are always outside and walking around. I live 2 blocks away from there myself and usually head there on Sundays for football and free wings (if you wear a steelers jersey).

And how is it that you manage to have a picture of the car whiles its parked in the BWW parking lot...? Took it right before it got jacked?

Exactly! ^^^ Hence is the reason why I suspect fraud myself.

Because than he could always point the insurance company to this post (before we started getting ideas in our heads) and prove that they are trying to have people look out for it and seem legitimate.

On a sidenote, I am sure the VW forums would provide much more of a chance at finding the vehicle since other VW owners tend to look out for other cars like theirs... just like all of us Lexus guys look for other Lexus vehicles more than anything else.
