I got a buffer and i'm sure i have a bottle of PlastX still in my garage too.

Your more than welcome to come give it a try if you want and see if you can get it out yourself before paying someone to do it!

Oh damn inviting yourself? hahaha jk. im cool with it.

Rancho Cucamonga.

If a bunch of people are interested we can have a "buff out your headlights" day at my place...i'm down... I don't have a fancy buffer or anything, but its good enuff and i've used it to buff out headlights with just PlastX and it's worked on all 3 cars i tried so far!

You are gonna need at least a dual action polisher if you want best results.

True but that also depends on how bad the headights are too. For light to semi-moderately bad headlights you should be good after 1-2 coats of PlastX. With heavy oxidation your probably right though, DA Polisher would be your best bet.

I recently noticed that my passenger side headlight is a bit more yellow than my driver side. Not sure why it's unevenly oxidized, but I would definitely try buffing it out myself before paying someone to do it. No one will take the same time, care, and precision that I would to do it myself.

I've got a Flitz headlight restoration kit and will be trying it out this afternoon. I'll try to take pictures of the before and after.

Best Tint Auto Center in Stanton. They sand, buff, and seal. A lot of times after buffing, if you font seal, it may come back.
