even 5k on a turbo swap is easy cash to blow.... without labor since I been doing this for a long time ....breaks down like this for my car
$2000 aem ems
fuel upgraded rail injectors fuel pressure regulator
new steel braided lines to replace current steel braided lines
$1500
turbo manifold
nice single turbo
waste gate
downpipe
aem uego
hks dli
replacing hot side intercooler piping
$ 6000
Total price spent
9,500
So as you see 5k on a turbo kit is a joke imo on just doing a turbo upgrade
and that's with me doing all the labor welding and tuning....

i been running one of my cars (supra tt) with about 600 whp and beat the snot out of it all the time and haven't had problems and many cars I've built 5 years ago with the same components are still running strong and all they come in for is minor repair issues... here is a possible scenario for ya would you take a no name 67 mm turbo you find off ebay for 150 bucks or a precision duel ball bearing 67 mm that costs reasonably more....but has a known track record of reliability? remember to mod any car you have to pay to play, and personally I don't go cheap since that ends to lead to failures that are more expensive than what you could of saved by going cheap in the first place. Also my main motto for which i work on and stand behind is Do it right, Do it once and never touch it again.... as I hate headaches when I see sloppy work
