my experience at longo lexus has always been positive. however, during one of my visits, a service tech removed the screwdriver pins from my toolkit and must have forgotten to put it back. it's now missing and they want to charge me $60 to replace both.

Longo Lexus finally got on my positive side after couple services with them, they did the work correctly due to my issues from my previous post. It helps a lot if you get to the right service consultant they follow up great and let you know full details what has been done to your vehicle.

FYI, Longo Lexus/Toyota facility is great all around.

^^ totally agree about having the right service consultant, and that's EVERYHERE you go. Out of 10 diff consultants I've had at 4 dealerships, Jimmy at Longo is awesome.

Damn...10 year warranty. Not bad LOL.

I had an IS300. I bought it back in 03 as a new 2004. I put 105k miles on it in 3.5 years. I didn't have any problems with the car during the time I had it. That was one well built car. Didn't find a need for an extended warranty fortunately.

I want purchase an extended warranty from Longo sometime in the next couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone knows someone in the finance dept they can recommend me? I got Jimmy Thach as my SA by accident since I made an appointment and the SA I was supposed to get wasnt there so that was pretty awesome. He is a cool guy. Anybody like that in the finance dept? I got quoted a hell of a deal from another dealership but if someone can match or beat my quote, I'll go with them. Hence I need a cool person to hook me up. Thanks!

Good to know! I live near Longo but have never had my vehicle serviced there. Also looking to get a 2012 CT F-Sport in the near future... Pleased to see the staff go the extra mile by chiming in on a forum!

I am taking my car to Longo this Friday. Who should I ask for, Joe or Jimmy? If they are not available, who else can help club lexus member?

Thanks.

^ Can't go wrong with either really, but I always make it a point to see Jimmy. Call ahead of time and make an appointment if you can, they can tell you over the phone if either one is working that day and get you an appointment with one of them.

is Man Wong any good? i have an appointment with him next week. the guy was very serious last time i saw him, i tried to crack a joke about how they wrote down description of me (blue shirt, jeans etc) on the check in ticket, and the guy just stone faced, lol, must've had a bad day, but he did arrange to have someone drive me home and picked me up later that day.

Great to here that so many people have gotten great service there lately. Back in 2000 I was there with 20k to put down on my GS300 and couldn't get a salesperson to acknowledge me. I've never been back other than to buy small parts. I recommend people to the Lexus in Cerittos.

Man Wong is great. I've had really good experiences when going to him both with my previous RX300 and my IS350. He also makes it a point to have someone take you home and drop you off when you need it
