I get my car serviced at Longo too. I've dealt with John Duran, Klem, and Jimmy T. All great guys.

Thanks, how do you pronounced Jimmy Thach's last name?

Went to Lexus yesterday to drop off my car to have the Cam Gear Shaft replaced in my 07gS350. Hopefully they do hear the noise and if they do, it's covered under powertrain warranty. Very good service so far... I got to take home the new 2013 GS350 as a loaner!

man, lucky you. all i've gotten so far were the IS250s. i guess they check what you drive before they issue your loaner cars, lol.

I took my car to Longo and asked for Jimmy. Nice guy, I told him what I need and was out of his office in a few minutes. They did an oil change and adjusted parking brake per my request. I will be back for service in the future.

I got a CT200 hybrid as a loaner, not bad, might get one for the wife.

I took my car in on a wednesday for a 2pm appointment. I set my appointment online so didn't have a specific person to look for. it wasn't the person who i talked to, it was whoever at the loaner department that assigned me a GS. sadly... my car was ready the next day so barely got to drive the 2013 GS... haha. good experience though at Longo.

Well guys almost time for our first service on our RX. Just had a few questions on longo's service dept. 1) how long dose it take for the first service? 2) what do they do. (Im guessing oil and filter change and a general check.) 3) if over an hour long wait time is it customary to request a loaner? 4) do they mind f i did not buy the RX from them? Would have liked to but the exact model was not in stock and my little lady did not have a good experience with our sales rep. This is my wife's baby and i want to make sure this is a good experience for her and done right. I would do the service my self but since its included why not get it done by the pros. Oh and if any pointers i will keep an open ear.

Sorry kinda long just trying to get my ducks in a row.

Last time I had a service done there (10k service + tpms program), wait time was just under 2 hours. I didn't bother asking for a loaner, as there are plenty of places near-by to eat/kill time. Service dept was excellent. Only complaint I have, is they lost one of my valve-stem caps. Really not a big deal, I'll recoup that on the next loaner I get

Compare this to Santa Monica, which always treats me like ***** because I don't have an LS600, and washed my car with what had to be sand-paper, after requesting no wash. Spent $200 to get the scratches buffed out.

You would think they would listen to customers requests. Sorry they did that to your car.
