I would try Longo. They probably have the most selections and cars on the lot to see/test drive. They can probably also give you a better price.

Did your friend get it already? I liked newport for purchasing but wouldn't recommend servicing. Lexus of Newport was able to beat everyone else's price but I did all the negotiating through emails.

Keep in mind Santa Monica sales tax is 10. something.
