Default Installation of F sports sway bars

Hi there,

I heard good things about F Sports sway bars that improve handling. Thus thinking about installing them on my 250C. My dealer wants $500 + $250 + tax (parts + labor + tax) for doing it. $800+ is a bit high to me. I suppose I could order them online.

Is is difficult to install them yourself? In terms of DIY, I have only done oil changes in my previous car, thus I am not too sure about this one. Has anyone done it before? Can you recommend a good shop?

Thanks and happy driving.
Kevin

Installation is easy. It'll be a bit more time consuming than an oil change of course, but nothing ridiculously hard.

$250 for labor is a lot more than it should be.

Where in CA are you?

tommy is by far the most recommended person to get your sway bars installed. However I would advise you to DIY. It isn't that hard of an install, just get a friend to help you

I remember I got just the rear sway bar for like 180 and just had a friend install it in 20 minutes. Not sure if the convertible use the same sway bars as the regular IS.
