hey guys, maybe this isn't big to you, but i try to keep my car clean as possible. i just got hit and run by someone recently, and left me with a pretty deep paint damage that you can see my metal in the rear left fender. i'm pretty worried that my paint will chip more and the metal will get rusted. there is also a dent, which looks like i can pretty much pop it out myself.
another thing, i just got my rims picked up not to long ago and i'm low on cash as of right now. i was hoping you guys know a place that deals with Lexus body, if not a good body shop/paint shop that charges a decent price. i understand "for good quality and better, you got to pay the prices"
here are some pictures, hopefully its clear.

that'll buff right out. ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
sorry, can't help. I only know of toyota/Lexus Collision centers. You should get a quote from them to serve as a baseline.
if you don't have the cash, just put touch up paint to prevent rust. then get it fixed properly when you've saved up.

Looks like the scratch on the door will buff out. As for the other part, you will have to paint, obviously. Pulling that dent out may be hard. That part of the car is thick and it maybe difficult to get to the back side. Hard to explain. Proabably the body shop will have to use good ol bondo. But if you have to paint anywys, it's all good.

Suxxx...the areas that didn't chip should buff out but since the dent and chips will need paint, that will all be taken care of. Stop by one of the recco'd body shops and see what they say. GL
A spell back somebody swiped my Celica and cracked the tail light...finding a nice lens for a 1980 car was a PITA.

thanks guy, i'll try to look around first before i start making a move. yeah pretty much the other scratches can be cleaned up and the dent.. probably get that fix while i get the paint covered up.
im hoping they dont really have to take out the whole rear piece fender and repaint all.

Try Color Creations in Placentia, CA for the small scratches. I scratched up my bumper of my new CT 200h and Rhod was really good about getting it well blended, considering I have tricolor paint too (Starfire Pearl). Great prices too. I paid $175. He will charge a little more for door-to-door service.

Tell Rhod Matt sent you. If you mention Yelp, you'll also get 10% off.

Take your car to a reputable body shop...references are always good. I would start first with a Lexus dealer of choice and ask who they send their work out to.
Judging by the damage you are showing in the pics, it needs to be done correctly and done by a qualified body shop. The damage is down to the sheetmetal so some repair is required to properly prep and prime the exposed areas.
Most of the people know what my daily grind is here. I am involved in the auto collision repair industry.
