I try and take my car as often as I can to Fairway Gardens Car Wash. They are in Walnut. My gf doesn't live in West Covina anymore so I haven't been going much lately but its a good place and they always seem to take care of me.
They have a coupon online for a full detail ($130)

It's hand wash. They put the drivers side of your car on a rail that goes through, soap and stuff is applied by sprays and then they hand wash it and hand dry it. Other than the wheel track, nothing else mechanical touches you car. It's an outdoor thing too...here's a pic i took one time i was there, explains it better...lol
If your really ****, they will even bucket wash your car for an extra fee. ($20 i believe?)

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to warn all Socal Lexus owners of Fountain Valley car wash on Magnolia and Warner. . They like to mess up your lovely soft Toyota/Lexus paint because they think its funny to make hologram marks all over your doors and hood. Luckily, I was able to fix mine. Stay away!
