I noticed the fierce winds around 8:30pm, and we lost power at my house about 15 minutes ago (11:30pm).

Read that LAX has a blackout, and over 25,000 homes too. Winds in La Crescenta, about 10 mins away, are peaked around 60mph.

Typing this on my phone.

Anyone else experiencing these winds or power outages?

No power outages but we just had a strong gust of wind about 20 minutes ago. Knocked down a bunch of trash cans.... few others I know have lost power a city or so away from me.

It's freicken crazy outside right now, sounds like a war-zone out there lol. No idea how i'm actually going to sleep tonight -_- Neighbor has wind chimes and all that kinda stuff in his backyard and i have the room closest to his backyard.

The winds over in Hollywood last night and this morning were crazy! Driving on the freeway, I could hear things hitting my car and see leaves and trash (lots of trash in LA haha) flying all over the place

I went outside this morning and the trees are basically naked with leaves ALL OVER the driveway.

I hope it all blows away lol, i don't wanna clean that up

Also pretty pissed because all the little noises from my neighbors backyard kept me up till about 4am! Gahh

Actually there are wind farms out on the way to Palm Springs (10 E). I hear the IE got hit the hardest so there might be some hope after all

Streets were pretty messy with leaves and branches. This morning in Torrance, the parking lot was littered palm tree branches and other leaves. I parked under those trees and when the winds began picking up I debated on moving the car. Home now and it is reasonably calm in Cerritos.

First and only concern when winds started....my LEX.

On my way home there was a torn up black leather couch on the freeway had to swerve way over to avoid it. I looked down at my phone for a couple seconds looked up and BAM a big *** couch with little mini tornadoes of couch stuffing all around.

I live in Temple City. I went home today and my street was blockaded by a tree... No water or electric until Sunday I heard.. Oh yeah.. there's power lines all over my backyard

So glad I'm able to put my car in the garage... Winds last night and today were bad. Thankfully we didn't loose power.
