Yes, when you be in court, the judge will give you some discount instantly so you don't have to ask.
He only give you 3 option:
1. not guilty
2. guilty but no traffic school (not eligible or what ever)
3. Traffic school

Both option 2 & 3 will have some discount
If you take traffic school. i suggest you take online class with is allow in most state (www.onedaytrafficschool.com) It's easy, fast, and 100% passes warranty
Good luck!

That would be very disappointing if that were true. Hopefully we can get away with getting a discount and traffic school.

Can someone correct me if this process is incorrect?

Go to the court and set up appointment
Return on the date of your appointment
Plead guilty and ask for a reduction of the fine and traffic school as well.
Do traffic school and then pay the fine?

Is there court fees as well?

5-0 caught me doing 80 on 65 on the 60 west bound.
I didn't see him coming off the 57, all of a sudden he was already on my ***.

There was no discount, even though the judge knew I had a clean record for the past 13 years.
I had to pay the full bail amount + the traffic school fee - $ 298.35.
This was at the Pomona courthouse.

I'm pretty sure they will give you a discount for showing up or why even bother going if your not going to fight it. If you do go they will just charge you for court fees ontop of traffic school AND the full price of the ticket.

From the past, i would show to court and judge would always lower the price of the ticket regardless. But i remember one time i wanted traffic school and the judge said no discount if you want traffic school. Now my question is if i want to take traffic school at Santa Ana courthouse, do i need to appear to court on my court date?

You can show up at the courthouse on the court date written on your ticket - talk the clerk to ask for traffic school
or
You can request online: http://www.lasuperiorcourt.org/

Basically when you show up to the courthouse, the clerk will offer you 3 things:
pay the fine (+ the traffic school fee).
get an extension.
to see a judge.

All of the above, can be done online. Save your time.

Yes, I don't plan to show up and just pay for the ticket over the phone and just take traffic school else where. Thanks for the help.
