Llumar Air 80 or Crystalline 70?
I'm thinking between llumar air 80 or crystalline 70. Any opinion on these 2? Not a fan of dark tint but would like to keep my interior cool. Thanks!

Both films are really good films. It's all about color and preference. The Llumar is more on the blue side whereas the Crystalline is on more of the gray/charcoal side.
Here's an older thread talking about the same films in the 3rd Gen GS section...

Thanks for the response guys!
Nope, i have not. I will check those out in consideration. I like the Air80 because it reminds me of a Mercedes tint. Plus i have a black IS with black interior.

I've heard both good and bad reviews about the 3m Crystalline. It just could be because my friends were expecting their tints to be better performing than what they felt after their cars had baked in the sun for awhile. But given your wanting a really light tint, Huper Optik has been well received, even though it comes with a higher price tag. What I would recommend if you are still looking for other alternatives is the Photochromatic film. It is hardly noticeable in terms of darkness, but provides more than adequate protection from UV rays and the heat. It can be installed at Song's Tint Masters, and a few of the Lexus rides on the forums, myself included, had it installed with the performance speaking for itself, especially during the summertime.
