Well im intrested on purchashing the set of PPE Headers for my IS 350. I have currently set up right now in my car is the F Sport Cold Air Intake, F Sport Exhaust. Im pretty sure its not street legal in California but i was wondering if some of you have that set up, how would you make it pass smog?? I wouldnt want to uninstall the headers and reinstall them again. Any Feedback?? Also, is it pretty loud with the F Sport exhaust?? thanks!!

As far as smog goes, you can always stuff a couple bucks in someones shirt and bam, u pass. My buddy in his supercharged mustang tried to pay some guy to pass him and he wouldnt take his cash, he saw his prescription pills in his cup holder that he got after his wisdom teeth were pulled and bam..pass. Never know what kind of people are at smog shops.

Yeah, you can find "a friend of a friend who runs a smog shop" situations. It's always a little sketchy but it can be done.

With the headers and exhaust would you be fully catless? If so then you have no chocie but to grease some palms or swap parts back on.

You'll def need at least 1 cat to pass smog in CA...sometimes you can add a little E85 to help clean things up but you must have a cat for sure to pass legitimately.
