hey everyone! im trying to get a meet going. Im looking to get the group started in the vicinity of Riverside and surrounding areas. If everyone can meet bi-weekly this could be a great meet where we can discuss cars and everything else. :thumbsup:

Meets will be held at partking lots near malls or restaurants of our choosing. To start things off we can get the first meet going at the Tyler mall off the 91 freeway in Riverside.

Just FYI, if your having a meet at Tyler mall, the security there isn't the nicest about those kinda things.... Just a heads up!

 

yea mall securrrrrity dont really like people just chillin in the lot... especially since they usually call the cops. since well.. yall aint gunna be going inside buying stuff.. which means yall are taking space away from people who are potential shoppers.

would be nice tho.

 

thanks for the heads up. i figured id try to talk to the security and see what they say. either way i hope you guys can make it. from what i remember this particular parking spot is usually empty, it only gets full during hoiday seasons. but either way ill make sure its cool with security before hand

 

you're going to get kicked out of that lot and/or rolled by RPD.

 

Believe me brother, there are plenty of us that have tried talking to them. They will not budge for us car enthusiast. So when we say you are gonna get rolled up on, you most likely will and it is going to be a waste of time and effort. I think you are better off setting up a different spot.

 

any recommendations. hows the riverside plaza.

 

Not sure, but they do have a good number of security people there too....so i'm not sure it would be any different.

 

Yeah not a good place to have a meet anywhere in Riverside. They always get raided. did you want this to be a Lexus meet or a general meet? The odds of attracting cops increases when you invite BMWs and Subies. They have their own meets.

 

ill talk to them tomorrow. ill see what i can work out, if anything well have to change the location. keep you guys posted!

 

having meets in high-traffic areas like those never really end well. But it is possible to have meets in riverside in general. I started meets over near UCR like 4 years ago and they're still going strong

never been raided by cops, we keep the jokers away and the business owners at the plaza we used were always supportive

 

Btw if your asking security, find out whose actually going to be on duty during the meet and make sure they know about it. Sometimes one security guard will say its ok and then not even be working that day, and you end up getting kicked out by another security guard lol
