So we updated our caravan because some members need to arrive a little earlier to be inspected for the drag strip. Check it out and lemme know if any of you will be joining! We will have a pretty decent sized group and are anticipating randoms to show up last minute haha. It would be great if you guys could come along!

Yeah, I checked with RVCA yesterday and they are meeting in Irvine at 7am, an hour earlier due to some people having to get to the track early for the drag race. Good news is it gives us a chance to get whatever spot we want at the track and some time to do a final clean of our rims and rides. So I'll be heading out of UTC area around 5:45am if anybody wants to get up a little earlier and follow me?

Yeah, whatever works best for you and how you want to arrive at the track to get your spot. We'll all see each other at the track anyway. I think it'd be more fun to meet with the guys in Irvine and then go pick up more in Stanton, roll in as one huge group. To me, that's worth getting up an hour earlier lol

 

The reason we want to leave early due to some of us registered for drag and we're just want to make sure nobody miss goodies bag, good spot. There's gonna be almost 1k cars (500 for scion, almost 500 for lexus) that day
In additional, if you're rolling late the change you stuck on traffic is really high (i work in SD about 3 years so kinda have little experience) not mention about the local street at Irwindale

 

Good point whitebeast. Goodie bags and free t-shirts are limited, first come - first served, so getting to track a little early would almost guarantee we get something. These meets fill up quick so best to be early than right on time or late.

 

Hey all - See you at the event tomorrow, can't wait! I won't be meeting at Kohls after all, heading up early to Irvine, so 5:30am Kohls is off for me. Let's hope for no rain!
