i read on the 2IS general forum, they suggest to replace f sport intake with stock one before going in for this recall. has anyone with f-sport intake done their recall work at Longo? how did it go?

I have a modded stock intake (hole cut in the same place as the f-sport one) and Longo didn't say anything about it when they did my car gear recall. It went really well. Had my car back ASAP and got my 60k spark plugs service done labor free since they were taking it apart anyway.

Talk to Man Wong. He's my SA and he always takes great care of me!

I have the F-Sport Intake and had my recall done at Crown Lexus. The F-Sport Intake showed no signs of damage or tampering. I'm giving it a once over this weekend while I clean the filter, but from first glance everything seems normal.

talked to my Longo service rep, he said they've done a few with f-sport intakes and had no issues. however, he told me the free spark plug labor promotion is dead during this recall

I was told the same. Luckily I had the water pump replaced.
