San Diego Potato Chip Rock
Looking to go hiking sometime this week or next week to Potato Chip Rock?
I believe its also called Mount Woodson Trail in San Diego.
Anyone know how long the hike is or how demanding it is?
LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, are the streets lowered friendly?

Check out Yelp.com, lots of reviews and pics. Not sure about being "lowered" friendly though, when you get out to nature, it's best to have a bro-truck, SUV or 4x4.

The hike itself is about 3 or 4 miles one way if you go from Lake Poway. It's considerably shorter if you go from the back side off highway 67. Just stock up on water as I went through about 10 bottles along with 2 bottles of Gatorade.
The parking lot at Lake Poway isn't too bad, but it depends on how low you are. I drove in with a lowered 510 years ago, and as long as I took my time, I was ok. If your GS is scraping the ground, you may want to avoid the lot. The street around Poway are relatively flat and the speed limits are low so there isn't too much to fear about bottoming out.

The Poway Police are strict when it comes to speed limits. They recently turned off the cameras but they're still hot on folks who do "California Rolling Stops". A know some folks who got $400 tix recently.
