I have a gs400 with both the middle and rear mufflers removed with 2.25 pipes and the low end is absolutely terrible. i have to rev it in order for it to even move and I'm tired of the setup but i love the sound. I want to get a tanabe touring exhaust to get most of that low end back without loosing that muscle car sound but I'm afraid it won't be worth the 800 bucks. Is there any one in LA who is kind enough to let me here there tanabe exhaust on there GS400. This is my first post so forgive me if I'm in the wrong section for this question

2.25in is the correct tubing size, the mufflers will not solve your issue if you have indeed lost power. I would check with the nice folks in the GS forum, as you're probably in need of a tune-up.
