Do you have earthquake insurance?

Most my neighbors don't. Earthquake was ~$700/year with flood being about $450/year.

i found it was oddly cheaper to have earthquake ins than to not, by about $100!
this is with AAA in south OC.

I'd been discussing this with my neighbors and shockingly enough of them don't carry it. Their reasoning was that if there was a "big one", the insurance companies would not be able to pay out and they'd still be stuck without a means to rebuild. Earthquake through AAA added $8XX. Still worthwhile yet I didn't take it this past renewal nor did I take flood.
