Hello Lexus community,

I recently purchased and changed the headlights on my sisters 2009 is250 to the VLand projector LED headlights. The issue I am having is when the DRLs are on, the high beam LED flickers.( The DRLs/High Beam run on the same bulb) Its understand that LEDs run on constant 12v power to work properly but since a lower voltage is running while the DRLs are on it causes the LED to flicker. I can not install the anti-flicker devices since the LED is build into the headlight. Ive been looking around and seems like Toyota Techsteam would solve this issue by disabling the DRLs. I purchased the program and Mini VCI cable of ebay. However, the program did not work. My question for the So-Cal community is if anyone has ran into this issue? Do you guys know someone this Toyota Techstream program that can do this service? I am hesitant to ask the dealer since I have read a few horror stories. Any help will be appreciated.
