ECU is the only difference holding back the power on the IS300. All the parts are identical on both models.

yea not in a huge rush. I can wait until they have 2017 on file. My car will be a DD so definitely can't send in the ecu

Just spoke with RR. They might have something for the 2017 in about a week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Also in for the 2017 tune for the 350. Quick question though , I have a Lease , do you think will they be able to detect it ?

Yes, if you give them a reason to go looking, they can detect it. Key thing would be to stay responsible and don't break the engine.
This is really only a concern for warranty issues concerning the engine.
