Quick question. Whats the difference between the OBD tune and ECU tune? The gains look the same?
They're essentially the same. 2016 and below can take advantage of a handheld OBDII handheld to flash the ECU to the new tune parameters. 2017+ Lexus changed some coding in the ECU and an OBDII tune isn't possible. So, you must send in your ECU to have it tuned.
The end tune is virtually identical with either method. Hopefully this clears up your confusion
Congratulations! The 0-60 time for the supercharged is350 awd is 4.1-4.4 sec, I’m impressed . You need to post the video here.
here is the video. So the 0-60 time is about 4.1sec, and the 60-125mph time (equivalent to the 100-200kph benchmark used in Europe) is a bit over 9 sec, which puts this car into seriously fast territory.
Keep in mind, this particular IS350 AWD was quite heavy as it was equipped with air ride suspension and lots of other show car stuff.
The transmission still seems to be slipping in that video.
Edit: The 1-2 shift looks great.
The 3-4 seems to slip for a second
4th just as the video ends looks like is frees right up
