But I wanted to mention, that I'm in the process of making a whole new batch of these. Unfortunately, it takes me a fair amount of time, and a fair amount of money to make these.
So bear with me.
And P.S. - No exaggeration: I was going through the car wash about 10 days ago. I hadn't cleaned the car up well in some time. So I was going to be in the wipe down area for a while. After paying and getting ready to enter the wash area, a worker knocks on my window, then he asks, "what engine is in this?" I didn't know how much detail to go into, so I just said, "It's a V8." And he just said, "I thought that's what I heard, but that's not what I expected." And then some compliment about how it sounded and he gave me a thumbs up as I put my window back up.
Kind of a generational thing. I would expect a V8 in a sedan so large. The younger generation is used to smaller engines being implemented.
That's absolutely nothing negative on the younger generation. When I was about his age, a big cool sedan sort of equivalent to an LS was a Ford Town Car. They rode nice, had air ride (that f'd up probably on every one of them), and a V8. The difference was, back then, 4-cylinder engines were MUCH less capable. So you couldn't slap them in just any car. Certainly not a town car. So it was expected back then that such a big car would have a V8. But these days, 4-cylinders are a heck of a lot more capable, and have proliferated. No problem with that. I have only one issue with 4-bangers. They just don't sound good.
