Would this work for a 2IS, or would it be purely for the IS-F? If not could we do a group buy for the 2IS?

 

Its totally compatible with the 2IS, we may just advise on slightly different spring rates, depending on the application.

We don't have USRS discounts at the moment, sorry.

 

The Penske double adjust and single adjust shocks (7500DA and 7500SA) are the same exact shock, just with different adjustment capability.

There are some advantages of being able to adjust compression and rebound independently, if you like playing around with that sort of stuff. It gives you more control to adjust the car's behavior and traction, especailly exiting corners. For drag racing, it allows you to dial in the suspension so that the car really squats and transfers weight to the rear when you launch.

That said, we have been playing with these shocks for a while, and we have the settings down to the extent that we can pretty much setup the car for good street comfort and track performance, and I suspect most owners don't change it very much after!

For now it is on the back burner a bit as we are putting all our resources and time into tuning. Have you installed your coils yet? When I asked customers who run our Penske's most are saying that having the electronic adjustability is not an immediate necessity.

Totally understandable. I haven't installed my coils yet. I am waiting in the weather to turn before I install them. We have rain and snow in the forecast for the next week�� I am ready for spring to show its face!!
