Yeah, I really on the fence betwen 7200 and 7400. It's always good to have access to 7400 if you want.

It finally stopped raining. Had my first drive this afternoon on the ecu with new 7200 rpm limiter. As I had not yet seen a dyno run posted showing power gains beyond 6800, was very curious.

Drove around town (Seattle) for 45 min. Lotsa traffic here, so I didn't get to hit the limit to many times, maybe 6 or so.

Very pleased to report that the power absolutely hangs in there after 6800 according to my butt dyno. The car also seemed to idle smoother, though that could be from the new plugs installed with the ecu. Will be heading out to the strip when they open up to determine actual results.

Props to all the crew @ RR. Rafi & Simon, you guys truly rock!!

Gotta go do some more "learning".

I hope that all makes sense and I am being clear!

With the OBD flash option does the ECU still need to be sent in initially? My car is my DD and I live in Canada so I would rather not have the car down for a week sending things back and forth.

I know what the E-LSD is and what it does. I also know when the Torsen LSD was ADDED, I have a 2011. As I mentioned the Torsen was added, the E-LSD is still present in 2010+ Fs.

are you talking about the stability/traction control? where the YAW sensors will start braking per corner when necessary?

The smoother idling is because of the new tuned, not because of your new plugs, my plugs is at 70k now but when i install my tuned ecu my idling became smoother too and the sound of my dual exhaust toned down after cold start.

Could you point me to where you're getting this information about the 2010+ having both an E-LSD and a Mechanical Torsen LSD? The Torsen LSD was added to replace the E-LSD system of the early models not in addition.

No, it wasn't. You still need the eLSD with the Torsen because the Torsen will act like an open diff if the inside wheel comes off the ground and I can tell you from experience, the inside rear wheel will lift off the ground because the front springs are too soft from the factory. AMHIK.

This is the first time I ever heard of the 2010+ coming with an E-LSD also, I was told they did away with the E-LSD after putting in a real Mechanical LSD. Is there a source that points this out?

If I'm wrong, I stand corrected.

Who told you that lie? Torsen isn't a bad LSD, but it's not a real LSD and it still needs the eLSD to cover all possibilities.

This forum. In all my reading up and researching the ISF, and possibly reading just about every thread on the difference between the early model and the updated models, nobody has ever mentioned anything about Lexus using both the E-LSD in conjunction with the mechanical Torsen LSD.

The general consensus seemed to be that Lexus did away with the E-LSD in favor of the Mechanical LSD which greatly improved the car on the track, never heard of anybody saying that it was used together in the updated models. If there is a source that has this information, I would really appreciate you pointing me in that direction. You're most probably correct, I would just love to read more on it.

Not sure whether to select Yes or No on the oxygen sensor?

Only have an exhaust, but will probably get an intake tube in the near future.

And it worked on the RCF I test drove a couple months ago!

So i was finally able to make a trip to the rr racing head quarters and get my hands on some of there awesome parts. Before i get in to detail about the products i bought (which are awesome) id like to commend both Rafi and Simon for being real gentleman. Their patience along side their great attitude just really nice people to do business with.

Ok so back to the goodies, i got the air oil separator, titanium intake, usrs bushings and the ecu flash. First impression was, wow really great quality stuff the pictures don't even do them justice. Rafi, who installed everything for me, was nice enough to take the time out and explain what each thing did for the car as he installed it.

After everything was installed, i had the beauty to see if it all worked since i had a 3 hour drive home. I instantly felt a change in steering, and when i say change i mean freaking sick upgrade! the steering feel was way more on point, a lot less bump steer, breaking was 100000 times more stable and you feel the difference even more at high speeds all that thanks to the usrs bushings. I'm riding on swift springs and 20" vossen cvt surprisingly even with the new york roads the drive feels way smoother and hitting bumps is way less dramatic now.

The intake sounds sick and looks even better.

The oil air separator is a fantastic addition to the car, over time ill add a review on how it works since its a daily and the build up of all the residue will accumulate over time vs. when you track it it could happen way quicker. But when its time to drain it it is a breeze.

Last but not least the tune!!!!! The all mighty ECU flash. Huge difference with the flash! Rafi said the computer has to adjust and all that but off the bat i felt the car unleash a whole new side i didn't know it had. I'm running an iss qes exhaust with the intake and i feel a big difference i can only imagine what its going to be like when i throw my headers in there.

To sum it all up, great guys, great products, great customer service. i can't wait to get more stuff for my baby!

Thanks so much to Rafi and Simon at RR Racing.
