Rafi
Rafi,
Will you be shipping the ecu back to me tomorrow (for sure)? I'd like to have it back in hand on Saturday.

Just took out the car for the first spin, only for about an hour, all of the above about the improvements as others have stated. Idle seems much smoother, anyone else notice the all knowing "engine tick" is gone at idle in park or much quieter with the tune????

If the ECU isn't showing engine check light. You will pass. They don't do actual sniff test anymore. Trust me

Rafi/Guys,

Anybody with the Tune, what's the consensus of the generalized time that is needed for the ECU to learn the new tables?

Are we talking about 4-5 hours or learning of 200 miles or something along those lines?

Thx

depends how you drive it but I would think 200 miles would do it. Or less time with a lot of 4th pull to redline

Still no feedback on the engine tick with tune? Not hearing it anymore...

^^^^^I can vouch for his engine not having any engine tick/noise after the install of his tune?!

We did a few runs last night together to try and get his tune to start the learning process, that was fun!! We ran up to 120mph a couple of times so if I remember correctly that is in fourth gear to almost redline right??

correct, we'll need to open it up during the day to reach the end of 4th comfortably with visability. Ticking is still there just not anywhere near as loud, so it seems. Than again, have only ran the tune for 2 hours...

The three things that come to mind are low oil, fuel injectors or an exhaust leak.
