Hood pins are not required per say but for safety reasons its ok to add hood pins/latches.
These are not dry carbon, dry carbon hoods are thin, lightweight and flexible. Hood pins are a must on those

Does the pattern of the weave look just like the CF roof? Is this a direct replacement for the stock hood (latch, hinges, etc. move over)?

vents only are not available. Only the full hoods

Just got a flat on right rear tire from bad road/construction debris...had to swap on stock rears to get car back home...thank God nothing bad happened and needed to swap out rear tires for new ones since tread was just about at wear bars
