Are there any drawbacks for this?, Meaning, does one have to give up something to lose that rotational mass? It is a popular mod for BMWs, but I have read it could make some components run weaker? Are there any installation videos for the RCF and does it require professional installation or can be done early in the garage? Want to get a good overall picture as this could one of my next mods. Thanks

As long as it's not an underdrive pulley, in other words a smaller diameter, it shouldn't affect the accessories. Hope RR can confirm on the diameter. Still more questions and concerns hopefully RR Racing could address this with an in-depth overview

If all things check out, it should be good to pick up a few tenths on the RCF. I have been very encouraged with the test data coming through on my personal tests. My RCF already is running some impressive Dragy numbers with basically 2 power mods on Octane 94 (inot including intake as it does not really give any power. Maybe, 3 - 4 whp max). 12.5 - 12.6 seconds at the current 3400 feet DA at night. 12.8 - 12.9 seconds at 5600 - 6000 DA (hot/dry/thin July weather). At sea level DA, they are translating to 11.9 - 12.0 seconds @ 119 mph. I will be compiling some 1/4 mile and 60 - 130 mph videos soon on those augmented reality videos and then continue to test as I add more.

Its not an underdrive pulley, diameter is the same as stock.

we actually tested an underdrive pulley on the RCF, and it didn’t make any power.

we will do an install video soon. I don’t think install is hard. It takes us about 35min to do it. If a ship bills for more than an hour they don’t know what they’re doing!

If anyone want to see the instructions, please message us, we will email it to you.

Can you please do an install video? Would really appreciate it. Want to have a good picture in my head to see what is involved. Thanks.

Update: Wil be getting this installed if all goes well on Saturday morning. Has been sitting in my storage since last fall so now it is time to get it installed. I am quite positive I will be the first RCF to have this installed. Quite a few ISF guys have installed, but no RCFs. Will do a quick review, later on detailed review and possibly videos of how the car revs and possibly Dragy GPS 1/4 mile times to see what the numbers look like.

Sounds awesome. I believe there are a lot of RCF's that have them now though. The original test car for it was a local customer RCF.

Thanks. Interesting as none of them have spoken up. I was looking for impressions and did not find any, which is why I thought I was the first. Anyway, I will post a detailed and thorough review of it. Cheers!

I guess not everyone feels they need to make a post about it.

Call me crazy, but if it benefits other people in the community, I usually find it worth taking the time out for it and many members have told me how much my reviews have helped them. In this case, it would have helped me a bit if I heard from other members impressions.
