Thats awesome... good job. Driftwood is a little darker, but very close.

the discount was free shipping. i believe the price was $799 w/ 2 tone

These problems are definitely not normal for our product whatsoever. The wrinkles in the leather is definitely related to the install. To fix the problem, all you have to do is tighten the attachment points a little more and it will pull the leather down tight, but some wrinkling is normal with time. I will attach a picture of a 02 Lexus IS300 with factory leather that is wrinkled also. Thats just the nature of leather... it stretches some after being used. Everyone who has factory leather can attest to that.
i believe you and in your product... it is possible that everything could be related to the install however the company that did the install is well known and does this type of work daily... maybe they just did a half *** job because it wasn't their product and i didn't buy it through them...who knows... they did say that the kit was pretty good themselves but had a few flaws... and the wrinkles i have aren't like the wrinkles shown in that pic of the red IS... mine actually bulge up... the red IS leather is just stretched... no bulges (sp)

The airbag problem has been changed on our side so that it is no longer pre-cut and can be custom cut per install. That is not the real problem though because the leather is an almost exact duplicate copy of the factory leather. The real problem is the install again... whoever did that install must not of had too much experience. Strangers doing installs and little experience with upholstery is a dangerous combo because they dont care how it turns out as long as it is "decent" or can blame it on the kit. Many times doing your own install is a lot better because you care and you can make it look exactly how you want. Experienced upholstery shops should be able to do the same though. Honestly, I could fix the airbag problem in about 15 mins without removing the cover or altering it. The shop should have been able to do it really easy also when they installed it. The stitching problem you have is definitely something covered under our warranty. If you want to send me pictures then we can start talking about replacement. Anyways... again I am sorry all these things happened. It is definitely not normal for our product. If you e-mail me at jeremy@leatherseats.com I can explain how to make the airbag tuck in better than it is.
you can just pm me how to fix the airbag issue... i would really appreciate it... and when i get my car out of storage, i will take some pics of the stitching... its not bad... but there are a few short threads that have caught my attention... i didnt' cut them cuz i dont want it to get worse...but i can see that in those areas the stitching is loosening a little bit.

Thank you for your concerns though... i take very good care of my car and enter it multiple shows per year.. alot of people ask me about the kit and i tell them where to find you guys... but then they see the airbags lol.... but dont get me wrong... the overall picture still looks GREAT! thanks again...

Thx AaronE, that's pretty close. If I can get the sandstone full centers (from headrest to the bottom of the seats) and driftwwod sides count me in.

TicaLis300: The bulges is what I was concerned with mainly. Thats part of not getting the inserts tight enough. You are the first I have heard anything negative from our IS300 pattern. Thats why I think the install was a large part of the problems that are occuring. Anyways I will give you some instructions on the air bag thing.

Hey, I'm interested in replacing my 95 sc300's leather on my front seats only, as my rear seats are almost perfect... Also if it is possible, is your leather going to match close enough that a distinguishable difference won't easily be noticed? I believe my leather is sandstone color? One last thing, do you have pics of a finished SC300 that isn't done with perforated leather? thanks!

BTW This is my first post (sup all)

Jeremy...it seems like this has been going on forever (almost a month), when is this group buy going to become a reality...and whats the status on the GS kit (since this will be a good portion of the buyers)?

I'm not trying to press you on this, but I'm trying to budget me modding money appropriately to include this mod....are we looking at a week.....two....three....a month or two? Just a ballpark idea is what im looking for.

Thanks

by the way, since it seems like we will be way above your quota brackets....how bout throwing some more brackets in there....

25...free two tone
30...free premium upgrade...or maybe half off
35...free piping

something along those line.....sounds good doesnt it??

Thats laughs....every other post is about quality, and then every OTHER post is about CHEAP PRICE. WOW. That leaves the guy in a tough predictament. Offer cheaper prices but produce better quality? I think the money was the best money ever spent on my Lexus and I got ZERO discount. Not bashing anyone, but I think you are missing out if you do not jump on a deal like this. 2 years later and I am STILL gettin compliments and words of amazement that my SC is 12 years old. Everyone believes it is a new model to maybe at most 4 years old.

MW

Thanks

fireball gs400: I cant really lower prices much more without losing money honestly. These are fairly expensive to make with the cost of a good hide of leather and the price of skilled labor to sew them.

NPSC303: Our Sandstone leather is almost dead on to the factory tan color. Replacing the whole interior you shouldnt be able to tell much of a difference at all. We can do fronts only, but as I stated in an earlier post the savings on fronts only is about $100 bucks and really isnt worth just doing part unless you just dont have the money. You will notice a difference if you just replace the fronts because the back even if it looks new compared to the fronts still has almost 10 years of sun damage, heat exposure, etc. Leather ages even if it isnt used.

TTurboPimp: I cant lower the prices a ton just because of them being so cheap but I will try and think up some more incentives for 25+ when the time arises. Read the GS Update section for answers to the rest of your GS questions...

pcmw: Thanks for the words of confidence. I really appreciate the support, and I am very happy you are happy with your interior. We strive to make these things the most bang for your buck. We want you to get the product and say "Wow... this was worth every penny.".

GS Update: This GS thing is turning out to be a real pain. I keep getting commitments from people and they fall threw. Currently the guy that was supposed to send in his interior to us never did so. I have tried calling him last week and still no answer. I just tried him again this morning and still nothing so I am back to square one for you guys.

GS Call: To anyone with a 98+ GS... I have a pretty good offer available for anyone who will remove their factory leather and send it to me. You will start out with a pretty significant discount and then if all goes well and 5 GS guys buy... will get another discount that will drop it below any of the listed group buy prices here. This is again open to any 98+ GS owner.

I'm seriously wanting this leather. Any chance I could send you the money now for the 10 person price and if we end up with 20+, you could ship it free, otherwise, I'll send shipping? (difference between 10 & 20 = cost of shipping!) I'm all ready to send you money for a regular sandstone front and back for a 92 SC.

Thanks!

AaronE: I think what we will do is that if I dont hear anything from GS people then I will just close the Group Buy down and I will still work on getting the 98+ GS. Once I get it I will have another group buy for all the GS guys... I agree that its been too long and I know everyone wants to hurry up and get their leather. Bare with me a few more days to see how this GS thing will happen and if its a dead issue for now then I will close it down.
