I agree the 20 person discount is already really really good.

I have a proposal: any chance you could start selling leather now at the current non discounted price to those that are willing to pay it and then refund the difference for whatever the final count is? i.e. if there were only 10, then those that bought now would get a refund of the full price minus the discount price.

This way you could avoid a big backlog and a huge rush to try and make them all at once.

For instance, I'd be willing to pay the full price for the sandstone interior now and if we get 20 by the time the buy closes, then I'd get the 20% refund. This would work out especially well for you guys in cases where the leather is already done like in my case where I see SC400 sandstone by you guys on ebay as overstock.

sorka: I'll have to discuss it with the boss, but thats definitely a possibility.

007: Normally we have car specific group buys. Like on LS1-tech.com we had a group buy but only allowed F-Bodies into it. There were Corvettes on the board along with trucks. This is the only forum that I have opened it up to all Lexus models of cars. Originally it was only going to be the first group buy also that was for all Lexus vehicles, but I think for this forum it works better for it just to be open to all the cars. Anyways I cant open up a group buy to every car made. What kind of car do you have that you are wanting to get done?
