Hello,

Unfortunately the Xtreme line is not available in H3 and H11 applications. I am personally not a favourite of anything above 6000k however we sell it because there is a demand. For maximuml light output go with the 4300k kit. If you dont mind sacrificing a little light output (approx 20%) for colour output go with the 6000k kit.

Regards,

Steve

How well would the 4300 K kit work on a 97 Nissan Maxima?

I am seriously considering this, but debating if the difference in light output would be siginficantly better considering that the OEM reflectors are for standard halogens.

the light output are going to be so much more than the stock halogen, it's going to be bright. you p robably wnt to aim the headlight down a little after getting the kit just to minimize the glaring

Hello,

I know that some customers end up angling their lights down a little however it really depends on the vehicle. When installing our product, your OEM halogen beam pattern will be replicated however you will obtain approx 3 times more light output.

Regards,

Steve

PS Thanks to those that have placed orders. We will begin shipping products on Monday so you will receive an order update.

Hello,

Thank-you for your interest.

As per your post:

1) I know that the Honda Prelude will require you to order an H1 conversion kit.
2) GS300: Im pretty sure that this vehicle would require you to get a 9006 conversion kit however please double check what type of bulb your vehicle uses for the low beams.

XenonDepot carries 4 types of conversion kits: 4300k, 6000k, 6500k, and 8000k. Please view this link for detailed information regarding colour temperature:

Hello,

As per your questions:

1) Unfortunately there are no group buy prices for individual components. However, feel free to email me and I will do my best to help you out.

2) GX application: I would suggest going with the 4300k kit if you prefer the closest possible match to your OEM HID on the GS. You may contact us via phone if you prefer however in order to place your order you must do so online directly via paypal.

Feel free to email me at: info@xenondepot.com

Regards,

Steve

Thus, the outcome won't equal what I truly want out of an HID install (unless I get my hands on HID reflector headlamps, or an HID retrofit assy)
I wouldn't worry about that Doug! I have non hid housing and its fine with the philips hid kit.

Hello,

If you go with the 4300k kit, after approx 100 hours they will reach colour temperatures of 4700k.

Thanks Bryan, now I'm feeling less reluctant to get into this HID deal

Question for anyone experienced in installing Philips HID kits. How long on average does it take to install by yourself? I can change the H7 bulbs myself, so I should be able to tackle the HID bulbs and ballasts w/ no problems or special tools, right? $399.99 is an awesome price for a Philips kit

I have HIDs in halogen housings too. They are not perfect but I think better than halogens. Of course I've been contemplating something different in the "relentless pursuit" but we'll see where funds look next year.
