According to the site, it's the 6500K kits....the catch is, they're not Philips ballasts.

Hello,

Just about to leave to the airport however I figured I would respond to your questions:

1) The Xtreme line of HID products use Asian components. Having said that, we have had tremendous success with our Xtreme line and the product is covered by a one year warranty. We stand behind our products 100%.

2) The XenonDepot line of Philps based kits are as follows:

Philips based 4300k HID Conversion kit: $399.99
Philips based 6000k HID Conversion kit: $499.99

Regards,

Steve

Rominl, one question, if I want to put HID's in my YELLOW fogs, does it matter which kit I buy(4300k vs 6000k)? Meaning in terms of color? Since its always going to be in the yellow sleeve, would putting a 4300k kit in there have a substantial difference in COLOR compared to 6000k kit? I know the 4300k puts out more light..

I wish I could jump onto this HID deal, but I'm running halogen (non-HID) reflector headlamps in my ES, and if an aftermarket HID kit were to be installed, there would probably be a tremendous amount of glare and the cutoff won't be as clean as from a HID headlamp assembly. Thus, the outcome won't equal what I truly want out of an HID install (unless I get my hands on HID reflector headlamps, or an HID retrofit assy)

Hello,

Thanks for your responses:

1) I would suggest going witht the 4300k bulbs for your fog applications. There is no point in going with the 6000k if your fogs are yellow.

2) We have performed conversions on many vehicles that have reflective based OEM Halogen headlights. Here are some beam pattern pictures:

Toyota Matrix:

Volvo V70:

Honda Prelude:

go with the 4300k setup just like what steve said. there is no point for 6000k coz' you can't see the "color" anyway. it's cheaper so why not. i put in 6000k only coz' that's a spare kit i got from my old acura

Hello,

The Xtreme line of HID products does not come in H3 or H11.

Please view this link for information regarding colour temperature:

http://www.xenondepot.com/htec.php

The 4300k kit is $399.99 for CL members =)
