Yes you are correct. The $100 is standard on the GS since we only make those in Premium Leather Content.

Jeremy,

What exactly are the seat inserts and what is the piping?

Could you please post pics of the carbon fiber seat inserts? Thanks

LexAristo: I got you down. And I will post some pictures of examples of those things so you can see what they look like.

ravaz: I got you too.

Aristo*7: I will look at the PM in a second.

BrownDuckz: I got you down also.

This is a picture of a 2001 GS. The red trim around the edges of the seat is piping. The red on the inside of the seat is called the seat insert. The seat insert is basically the center portion of the seat. This is normally spoken of when discussing where the customer wants the two-tone to go or when speaking of the style of insert they want.

This is a factory style SC with gathered seat inserts.

Here is one style of the carbon fiber material. It is synthetic of course and more or less a stamped pattern on a leather with a gloss finish on it. This is only available for a few of the vehicles since it is a hard material to sew with.

Jeremy:
I assume that the pricing is for front AND rear leather?
Just for clarification, how does your leather itself differ from Lexus factory leather in quality, if at all? (aside from colors and piping and patterns)

Jeremy,

Mark me down for the GB but still am deciding what exactly I want to do so I'll probably give you a call. 98 Lexus GS400, Ivory interior.

Thinking of suede perforated inserts and suede piping, + required premium leather.

I'll go back and look at past threads where you've probably already answered these, but can you please describe the heater and massager options? Do these work (heater) in a car that did not originally have heated seats as an option?

You're selling the yard of suede for folks that want to match their headliner, door pillars, etc with their seat inserts, correct?

engin_ear: Yes, the pricing is for front and rear seats. As far as quality of raw materials, we researched a lot of different tanneries to make sure that we only use the best leather reasonable. Compared to factory leather, our leather is much thicker then OE leather, between 0.9 and 1.1 mil. OE leather is around 0.6 mil. Our leather also has more grain to it, similar to late model BMW leather. Our leather is vat dyed like OE Lexus leather, so the color wearing off isn't going to happen. We also have a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty against manufacturing and raw material defects. If you would like to see samples, just email me with your name, address, and what colors you would like to see. My email is BillC@leatherseats.com

DaveGS4: Awesome! I'll add you to the list! Feel free to ask any qustions and I'll do my best to answer them. As for the seat heater and heater/massage systems, they are complet kits that come with all neccessary wiring, and a hi/low/off switch that looks very OEM. They are designed to work in seats that didn't come with factory seat heaters. The seat massagers are a 6 motor massage system and have a heat pad, but the heat pad is mostly for therapeutic heat and not for keeping you toasty . The massage system is controlled with a wireless remote, and there are two different frequencies so you can have driver and passenger massage systems. Yes, you are correct on the extra yard of suede.
