Please help me with a few questions.

1) what is step lip and do you have pictures to differentiate regular lip vs.step lip?

2)I'm interested in the Iforged Sprint in either 18s or 19s for a Porsche 996 (narrow body, factory brakes), am I allowed in the group buy?

3)What is the maximim lip I can get if I go with 2 pcs. 18X8 and 18X10? Can you figure out the correct offset to go with to get as close to being flush with the fender without needing to roll the fender. Tire size I presume will be 225/40/18 and 285/30/18.

4)Can pick up be arranged with Iforged while all other aspects of the transaction through D2?

Thanks

1. I added a pic of a car with Step lips on the first post of this thread

2. Yes, as a clublexus member, you are allowed

3. If you go 2pc with the new Extreme Fit forging you can get 2.5 and 4" lips. The offsets and all other specs will be 100% handled by D2 / iFORGED

4. Yes, pickup at iFORGED can be arranged for those that are nearby.

One quick question:

Why isn't the stepped lip available in 19"?

Thanks Derrick and Neo for helping me with my questions regarding step lip. I don't think I like the step lip.

Derrick - If I go with the Iforged Sprint, it's not available with extreme forging. Thus, what can I expect in terms of lip if I go with 2pcs? Thanks

I don't quite understand the pricing. Are the listed prices for a set of wheels? And is the listed price the same regardless of what size combo you get for fronts and rears? For example, for the 2-piece rims, is the price ($2150) for 18x8 in front and 18x9 in rear the same for 18x8 in front and 18x10" in rear (or any other combination in those sizes)?

The Daytoma's are only availible with Extreme Fit Forging, so no 18s and no Precision fit. If you want Precision Fit and do not mind the "rivetless" look, I would recomend the Equip

Derrick,
What kind of wheels are on that Audi A4? Those look pretty nice. I'm assuming it is similar to the same setup i need...because of the AWD i need same width rims all around....and those wheels look like they have nice lips. ...not feeling the stepped lips too much though....
