got mine today. Looks like Blitz does it again with another great product. Which side is up though. I jsut matched the arrows on the filter frame and the filter. At least my AC blows colder now, which is awsome. so how do I clean this thing when it needs it?

Will any of these work in the 06 IS350? Also, do you have one which will fit in an 04 RAV L

This one I have good news on. The SC 93-2000 filter they us is the same part number as the 93-97 GS. So I have the Blitz AC filters for all SC 93-2000 in stock. Remember when you order to enter your discount code for the CL GB price.

Im pretty sure its down....reason is that when I pulled the old one out the top of the filter was full of crap. I can only assume that the airflow was going down.

I'm confused as to how that works- if you reuse the old frame, does that mean you cut the old filter material out of the frame?

If so, that seems like a longer-than-3-minute job.

not really. if you can imagine, it's like sliding a photo into a picture frame, but in this case the filter material is the picture. it's actually the easiest part of the install... getting the stupid cover panel back on in the middle of the dark at night (like me) was the hardest part!

I know how to install air filters, thank you.
Let's get our definitions straight.
The "frame" is the outer, stiff hard plastic part of the filter, that maintains the shape of the inner pourous material.
That slides into a housing that is part of the car's HVAC system.
On my SC (and the pre-98 GS, since the part number is the same), the frame is bonded to the filter material (see pic below), so the only way it is coming out is by force.
So how is the frame "re used"?

Or is the design different in other models?

the filter material is not bonded to the frame on my GS400. neither is it on the RX300. the assembly on my GS looks nothing like what is in your pic.

these pics were borrowed from one of e-man's posts (you can see the frame in the background):

another pic of the oem filter mounted inside the frame:
