yup yup...carson has really great customer service. I wish most companies would give us half of the service they do.

 

HAs the problem been solved with the issue i read about in a earlier thread about this STB not fitting properly? How much are these and are they in stock? Thank you

Obviously you cannot have the whole assembly weightless during install or the strut tower assymbley would fall to the ground, but after install of the two brackets over the struts don't you want zero weight on the struts (or as little as possible)?? The goal here is to apply a constant outer pressure to the shock towers to keep them from flexing inward,correct?

 

actually, i have seen people able to lift up the whole front of the car (both wheels off the gnd) and the strut tower didn't collapse

 

i've done it...

Hey Lexizm, sorry about not posting sooner, but at the moment we are waiting for news as well. As soon as we have a status on the new bars and when they will ship, we will post here and notify all customers directly as well.

 

Let us know I'll take one when there in stock.

Hey guys,

Today we received the re-tooled bar for the GS. I have already contacted our local board member ,(Joel-thanks bud), who will be coming down on the 26th to test fit the bar. If everything checks out, we will send it back and have our new shipment sent. As soon as those new bars are here I will contact all GS bar owners to get call tags out and new ones sent.
