First off, its not really polite to come on a vendors thread and blatantly promote another vendors pricing, I would appreciate it if you refrain from doing that again. Second of all "in stock and all" is not as insignificant as you imply. When you order a kit and it takes 2-3 months to ship and 1-2months to clear custsoms (if there are any issues,) you just paid less to wait 4months vs. 4days.

I'm not here to make decisions for anyone, but D2 is an established vendor here and the kit is ready to ship, so I know what choice I would be making with spring right around the corner.

Everybody always wants to cut a deal when there is clearly one right in front of their eyes.

I say, if memoryfab has it for $300 less, go buy it from them. Simple as that.

They have to order from japan and that takes time! Also D2 is a respected vendor here on CL and I agree that is was wrong for you to promote another site when he is trying to make a sale.

I have some questions about the kits. Sorry I'm a newbie. How much should I expect a decent shop to charge for installing the kit w/paint to match on an otherwise stock 2000 GS400? Does this vendor do install, or only provide the kits?
thanks,
fhk
