Are these wheels trully forged, or is that just the name of the brand? It is my understanding that a trully forged wheel is made from a single, solid piece of billet aluminum. On your 2 and 3 piece wheels, is each component forged seperately then welded together?

I think you have you definitions a little mixed up. Billet and Forged are 2 different things. Forged means the components are formed from alloy that has been compressed at a high pressure, so forged wheels can be 1, 2 and 3 piece. Billet wheels are simply cut from a single disk of alloy (rather than liquid being poured into a mold like cast), and are typically 1 piece.

I think you misread my question. A forging starts from a solid piece of billet aluminum alloy for wheels. The best forging would be a 1 piece design for strength purposes. If your wheels are trully forged, my question was if the components are all forged. Is the outer rim forged or spun? The outer rim of the wheel, especially the lip area is the weakest link. Typically a muti piece wheel is welded together into a spun rim. I understand that trully billet wheels are machined from a solid piece of aluminum alloy. I would not be interested in weak rimmed wheel, as I drive out in the real world with pot holes and such that would tweek a weak rim. Cast wheels while heavier, are typically stronger than a 2 or 3 piace wheel that is produced conventionaly. Bottom line my question is: Are all the components of your wheels forged?

Not that I don't believe you, but are you sure the lead time is 4 - 6 weeks for brushed finish? Does this apply to 20"? The reason I ask is because every else is saying 8 to 12 weeks. If you guarantee 4 - 6 weeks, I'll probably grab a set from you.

Also, what is the difference between the SWIFT, VERTEX and the FORTUNE?

The original question was for hi-polished and chrome, so thats what I answered, sorry I didnt also clarify that brushed is 8-10 weeks.

They are models from the 3 different series, and the details of all the series are outlined in the first post, please let me know what you do not understand and I'll clear things up for you
