Does this also apply to the SLU as well? I don't need the ipod/XM radio integration (as mine doesn't support MD emulation). I'm gonna be replacing the AVIC-100x Video/XM radio unit that i had bought last year since I'm doing direct RGBs injection now. (also if anyone wants to buy that unit off of me, PM me 
)

I just got the SLI iPod intergrationg unit and it work perfect on my IS350 with Nav/ML. More detail here or you can PM me for any question about the installation. It was a 15 miunutes job and another 45 minutes to cleaned up and make it look good...

SoundLinQ SLI supports iPod™ mini, iPod™ Nano, 3G, 4G, and 5G (Video) iPod™. SLI does not support software versions prior to iPod™ update 2004-04-28 (iPod™ mini, 3G).

I have the 2006 GS300 with the 4th Generation Navigation system. Since there isn't a "Detail" screen like there is on the 5th Generation Navigation system (i.e. 2006 IS250/350), would it possible to display the Artist Name? Below is a pic of what I'm talking about.

I have the 2006 GS300 with the 4th Generation Navigation system. Since there isn't a "Detail" screen like there is on the 5th Generation Navigation system (i.e. 2006 IS250/350), would it possible to display the Artist Name? Below is a pic of what I'm talking about.
This particular feature is available only for Radios that support MP3, and that's 5th Gen Navigation.
Your Radio, which is 4th Gen, allows only two lines for display.
First line, DISC, always displays playlist information.
Second line displays Artist name, Song title, or Album title, and toggle between them using DISC SCAN.

I have the 2007 ES350. I assume the SLI is fully compatible with the MP3. However, that details screen is not available while the car is in motion. Will that still be the case with this unit?
