Default New Tein Comfort Sport Series In Stock!!!

Just got in a nice batch of the new TEIN COMFORT SPORT coil overs. These are the followup to the classic CS. Basic rundown is as follows:

Flat black finish on the shock body (not as cool as the anodized gold from previous, but what can you do..)

Basically identical performance, as the spring rates and shock tuning were patterned to behave the same as the previous CS model.

EDFC fits no problem, same as previous CS. Shaft sticks out a tiny bit more like the FLEX model, but otherwise it is the same.

Non-solid upper mounts, which is nice as it isolates road noise and harshness (same upper piece as previous CS model).

Same springs as before.

Basically it's the same as the CS but with a steel, flat black body. Slightly heavier than the previous CS

Due to reduction in material costs (which was one of the main issues to change to steel) the price has dropped approximately 10%

I personally like the previous aluminum bodied CS, but just like many cool things, they are gone for good so we must move on. (96 Impala SS, 87 Buick Grand National, etc. etc. LOL)

In any case, we currently have them for the 98-05 GS chassis, 92-00 SC chassis, 01-05 IS

SC430, LS430, IS250/350, 06+ GS coming soon!

Price is too low to show here, but it m-i-g-h-t be right around 1200

Please PM to purchase, we don't have a whole lot to go around!

I think most any questions can be answered with a search, as for the most part once again, these are the same as the previous CS as far as fit, function, behavior, ride, etc. Send any unanswered questions if you must, but honestly I think a search would be your best bet.

As usual with our specials on here, YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOSE! DILLY DALLY WITH QUESTIONS AND INDECISION AND THE BUS WILL LEAVE YOU BEHIND!

That last picture shows the most technical part of the Suspension

From the description, I guess this is what they look like now?

What about this new Micro Speed Valve?

Just marketing hype? I guess part of me is hoping that there is no real need for me to swap out my current CS.

As Neo said, is it hype or really that much better than the CS v1?

hahhaa, it was just a tease, there is almost no reason for me to change anything else on my car man, talk about complete diminishing returns

yeah, from todd's description, the new tein cs (i will just continue to call it cs) doesn't seem to be anything special from the old one except the added weight and different color. of course the price is lower too, that's a plus i guess

and also about the edfc, so it works or what

are you 100% on the EDFC fitment?
EDFC fits no problem, same as previous CS.
the carson thread states very specifically that the old EDFC wont work with the new coilovers.

My information is always good, no idea where they get theirs from so can't comment on that one, sorry.

New EDFC will be pretty similar, just smaller motors for the most part.

Any chance there will be an application for the UFC10/11 LS? *drool*... I'm sure a lot of people would be interested.
