This is great news, now I don't have to get them extended to fill in my l-sportline bumper.

Can I ask a dumb question? What is the "cannister" that everyone is referring to? Is that just another word for the tip? If the exhaust for the 300 was designed to reduce resonance, does that mean it will be a little softer than the one designed for the 400?

Also, the more I look at the pictures, the more it looks like the one designed for the GS 300 has a different length pipe that comes out of the muffler at a different angle. Is everyone sure that this will fit a GS 400?

I'd leave the rubber hangers on until after you get the bolts loose and remember there is a tack weld on one bolt side. I learned the hard way. I bought new gaskets when I did mine too. Pretty cheap insurance against possible leaks.

I just tightened until the two flanges were together. I'm sure there's a spec but once you've got the plates together you should be good.

For anyone in California, will I have to take these off and put stock mufflers back on for biennial smog checks? I'm guessing no because these were made by trd?? Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Default Just Brought Mine

I just briught mine i talked to luis and i asked him whats the difference from the borla, and the ltuned for the gs300, he said the ltuned have the longer canister to reduce resonance in side the car, unlike the borla's, also the ltuned is not a straight threw pipe threw the canister like the borlas, so that u wont lose no low end like i experienced with the borla.

muffler doesnt make any difference to exhaust smogging as long as the cats are in place.

Sorry. for the L-Sportline bumper, you will still need to get it extended. The canister may be a little longer, but these exhausts are still meant to fit the OEM bumper. The pipe coming from the canister may be slightly shorter to compensate.

Default ***update***

Hey guys just wanted to give an update on the orders of the exhaust.

Everyone who has ordered will up until now 6.29.06 2:00 pm PST will get there exhaust.

As of right now I am down to the low single digit quantity left. If you want to get yours, place your orders now, or call me directly at 310-522-2383.

We expected some good interest in the exhaust and are very surprised at how fast these are moving. As it stands now, the last remaining few should be gone today, so as soon as it is done I will post up when the GB will be closed.
