just got my SLI installed. unit is working perfectly. sound quality is good and volume levels aren't that much different. the "i agree" override is quite nice. it overrides even if you put the car into reverse then drive. i heard the previous software version didn't do this.

I purchased and installed the SLI unit earlier this year. If I go into reverse before the I-Agree is dismissed, when I come out of reverse (or whenever the Nav screen appears up next), most of the time (90%) the click happens....but not all the time.

I know I'm too late for the group buy, but I scanned through some of the information on that site, and I have a couple questions about this.

First of all, I'm a noob to ipods, so does this work with all or most ipod models there are? Will it work with future ipods, too? (I'm interested in the touch screen one coming out soon)

Also, how exactly does the Viastech SLI hook up to both the car and the ipod? Will it be connected only by wires? Or does it have a means of docking somewhere on the dash, with the wires hidden? Same thing with the ipod: will it connect to the device only through some cable? Or can it be docked?

the unit connects directly into your stock headunit and provides an apple-like docking cable that charges your ipod as well. pocky installed my ipod nano inside the coin tray compartment. i'd imagine you would have to mount the ipod in the center arm rest if you had the bigger version.

If you have an ipod nano, it will fit perfectly there with the cover on. I'm not too sure about ipod video though.
