Question: I have a GS300 and was unable to change songs or playlists (SLI model) using the ACTUAL track and DISC buttons located next to the casette adapters -- is this a feature that just isn't supported by VAIS?

I just thought of a couple more questions, too, if someone could help me out...
First of all, how well integrated is this product with the car? For example, will it automatically turn the iPod on/off when I start/shut off the car? Will it resume an interrupted track from where it was playing if I receive a call via bluetooth/switch to the radio/turn the car off? Because the car does these things when playing an MP3 CD or something, so I was hoping the I could do the same with the iPod.
I appreciate the help.

Anyone?

imo, the sli is pretty slick. once you have your playlist in order, you'll never have to take the ipod out of your car again unless you want to update it. mine pretty much sits in my coin tray, totally out of site and no messy wires to deal with.
hope this helps.

SLI in 2007 Camry Hybrid with Navigation
Hello VaisTech;
I installed my SLI unit from the GB last night, seems to work OK, but I have a few questions:
1) I programmed it as a CD/MP3, is that the correct setting?
2) If so, is it also true that the CD limit of 99 playlists each with 99 tracks is now 99 playlists with 999 tracks?
3) The "Folder List" screen doesn't work, i.e. no playlists are displayed, is that a limitation of the audio unit? I can change playlists from the previous screen using Folder Up/Down taps.
In general, what features should I expect NOT to work on a 2007 Camry with Navigation?
Thanks,

1. Correct.
2. You can have 99 playlists, and unlimited amount of songs but it will display last two digits in CD/MD emulation, and last three digits in CD/MP3 emulation.
3. It is a Radio limitation.
Just a folder and file list will not work for this particular car.

I just picked up the RX350 with a radio that handles MP3's and WMA files. I had gotten my parts manager Tim to get with you guys for this system, and now he sells them through the dealer. My question is how will your system work with the 07 RX? Will it show song names, folders, tracks, or anything? I don't want to install it and have to scroll 3000+ songs for the one I want.
Thanks for any help.

In my 04 LS430 using the MD settings, does this mean I can have 1 Playlist and ALL of my 3500 songs in it?? Technically this is not very effecient as it would take a LOOOONG time to go through the entire playlist...but if it is possible, then thats fantastic.
