Got my caps this week! They look absolutely fantastic!!! Great quality and finish.

Too bad I can't install them just yet as the weather is just too cold here.

Question - what type of adhesive/glue do you guys recommend I use to attach them to the existing caps? Something that will obviously withstand the high temps in the engine bay ofcourse.

I would recommend JB Weld. It has a temperature rating of 600 degrees and 400 for the quick-bond version.

I used it to fill a hole in my exhaust (near my borla muffer) and it works perfectly.

Only $4-5 USD, but i'm not sure if they have it in canada.

Thanks GSteg, I'll check local auto parts stores here.

They are supposed to be available at Walmart and Home Depot, so I will check those stores first.

Hameed, I used the BLACK silicone adhesive. It's like liquid rubber. Very easy to work with. Not permanent, so reversible. Only drawback may be that if the cap underneath doesn't come loose, with too much force you can screw the billet cap off of the original plastic cap. Hasn't happened yet, but possible.
If u use JBWeld, you ain't gettin' it off!
