Gern (or anyone else who's purchased this exhaust),
I'd appreciate it if you could weigh the exhaust?
This is the main reason I would buy this.
In the box the weight was 45 lbs. All that is inside is the the y pipe, two rearsections and a lot of poly fill bags. So with out the box and fill I would say about 38-40 lbs.
It's looking like Tanabe might be the best choice out there right now if you're looking for a street-legal performance upgrade (for both weight and power)... but I'm still anxious to see your dyno results.
I thought this exhaust would give the biggest power gain of any of the current catback exhausts...

I was kinda thinking it was heavier than the Tanabe as it has the lower db rating.
I appreciate the effort but an axle-back has to weigh significantly less than stock for me to bite. Just gotta wait a little longer or go with the Tanabe, I guess.
According to the tracking info I just received from UPS, the package is 42 lbs. I would also imagine that the box would be multi-layered to protect the exhaust, so I wouldn't be surprised if it weighs more than 5 lbs.

How much does the Tanabe weigh?
According to Tanabe, their's weighs 20 lbs.
When I took my Greddy SP2 off my last car, the exhaust weighed about 21 lbs. In the original factory packaging to ship to the new owner, it weighed about 28 lbs. and the packaging was very large.
